I just did a clean install of Build 5384 and Office 2007 with no problem. My next step was to install my Verizon card so that I can check for updates but when I attempt to install the drivers I get an error message saying installation failed and that I have to have Windows 98 or newer operating system.
I have the V620 and PC5384 cards. Does anyone know of updated drivers or is there another way to install my current drivers?
Any suggestion will be appreciated....

Verizon wireless card and Vista Beta 2
CONER of course I checked out my system compatability before I installed I knew there would be an issue but the reason for installing was to learn the operating system which I am doing. Its jerks like you that make these forums so hard to use. If everyone had all the answers (like YOU) there would be no need to have forums. As you can see the computer I installed Vista on isnt my only laptop so if it takes me a month to get the drivers no problem.
If there is someone that has some info on the USB/EVDO issue I would like to here it.
If all you want to do is make stupid comments pick another thead.

I just did a clean install of vista beta build 5384 and office 2007 with no problem but went to install drivers for my verizon wireless card and it kept telling me that installation failed and that I must have windows 98 or newer operating system. I have the pc5740 and v620 cards, is there somthing I missed or is there another way I can install the driver? My real problem is that I cant check for updates until I can use my card. I have another computer with XP but it also has a Verizon card and from everything I've read you cant share the internet connection.
I'm stuck...
any ideas?
